In retrospect, we can’t help but smile when thinking back to the incredible event we had with 28 talented participants from Linear Vista, a renowned interior design firm in Malaysia. The day was filled with creativity, hands-on experiences, and a whole lot of sawdust as we embarked on a journey to turn their design dreams into tangible reality.
Design Dreams Take Flight
The event began with a burst of enthusiasm as the designers from Linear Vista submitted their unique design concepts. These submissions were like windows into their creative souls, showcasing a diverse range of ideas from personalized phone stands to stylish stools, handbag holders, laptop stands, and chic shelving units. It was clear from the start that we were in for an unforgettable creative ride.
Bringing Ideas to Life
With the designs in hand, it was time to roll up our sleeves and get the creative juices flowing. We guided the participants through the brainstorming process on the spot, fostering an atmosphere of collaboration and innovation. It was amazing to see these designers bounce ideas off each other, refining their concepts, and breathing life into their projects.
From Raw Wood to Masterpiece
The heart of the workshop was, of course, the woodworking journey. Our participants had the unique opportunity to learn the basics of woodworking from scratch. From measuring and preparing the wood to sizing it down with precision, they dove headfirst into the world of woodworking. It was a crash course in carpentry, and they embraced it with gusto.
Assembling the Puzzle
As the participants progressed through the workshop, the pieces of their projects began to come together, quite literally. Under our guidance, they embarked on assembling their creations step by step. It was like solving a giant wooden puzzle, with each piece fitting perfectly into place.
